How do I get started?
There are 4 simple steps to getting the product you want in under one hour!
| 1. | | Check Your Postal Code (click here) | | Simply check your postal code using our delivery area checker and see if we deliver in your area. We delivery to 80% of Ontario, and if you're in that area, you can proceed to Step 2! | | | 2. | | Enter your Personal Information (click here) | | Enter your personal information in our secure server, along with a username and password. The username and password will prevent you from entering all your information everytime you order! We've sorted everything for you in easy to find categories. Less then one hour later we'll have it in your hands! | |
How do I find more products?
You can click on either the "Beer","Liquor" or "Wine" category in the navigation bar. Choose from any of the sub categories to aid in your search. You can also use search at any time. This will allow you to type in anything youwant, and we'll return the best search results for you.
How do I order something?
To order something, simply find the product you're looking for, choose the package size you want and then click the "Add to Cart" button. You'll get prompted that the beer has been added to your cart, and you'll see the product appear in your shopping cart (under the left menu). You will also see the price listed with the product.Click "Check Out" at anytime to complete your order. You can either sign up now, or if you already have signed up, you can enter your username and password. After you've entered you're username and password, just click "Place Order" and the products's on it's way! Pretty simple huh?!
How do I order the same thing I did last time?
If you've been to The Liquor Guy in the past, your last order will remain in your shopping cart for 30 days.To order the same thing you did last time, just click "Check Out". You should see your order already in the shopping cart. Click "Place Order" to submit your order. That's it!
I can't seem to find what I'm looking for, is there an easy way?
Yes, use our search tool on the top right of the screen. You can type in whatever you are looking for and the search tool will return all values related to your query.
How long does it take for a delivery?
We usually show up within an hour from the time you clicked "Place Order" This sometimesdepends on how busy we are, traffic, weather, etc.
How much is the delivery charge?
Delivery charges depend on the city your in, and are based on your first 36 bottles of beer. Here is a chart to help you out.

Why doesn't my shopping cart work?
The shopping cart relies on the use of cookies. If you have cookies turned off in your browser,then the shopping cart will not work. Check below to find out how to turn on cookies in your browser.
What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of information that is downloaded from a web page through your browser and then semi-permanently stored on your computer. It is not a virus and will not harm your computer. In order to utilize The Liquor Guy your browser must accept cookies. The Liquor Guy's cookies store the details of the products that are found in your shopping cart.
How do I 'turn on' Cookies in my browser?
Cookies are 'enabled' (or accepted) as the default on a browser. However, if you are having difficulties you can enable cookie preferences by following these steps:
Firefox:
Click on "Edit"
Click on "Preferences"
Select the "Privacy" icon
Click on the "plus sign (+)" beside "Cookies"
Click to turn on "Allow sites to set cookies" and "for the originating site only"
Keep cookies "until they expire"
Then click "OK"
Netscape Navigator (other than version 6):
click on "Edit"
click on "Preferences"
click on "Advanced"
click on the radio button next to "Accept all cookies"
click "Ok"
To enable cookies in Netscape 6 or higher:
Click on the "Edit" Drop-down menu
Select "Preferences"
Click the arrow beside "Privacy and Security" to expand it
Select "Cookies" from the list under Privacy and Security
Select either "Enable All Cookies" or "Enable cookies" for the originating web site only
Select "OK" on the Preferences window.
Internet Explorer:
click on "Tools"
click on "Internet Options"
select the "Security" tab
click on the image labeled "Internet" and select the button "Custom level"
a dialog box will appear, scroll down to the "Cookies" section
Select "Enable"
click "Ok"
What are the advantages of using Cookies?
There are a few advantages to using cookies. One of which is the persistent state. In otherwords, your shopping will stay on your computer. Whether you leave the site and come backor lose connection to the internet, the information in the cookie will still be availablewhen you get back. Thus, you will not have to find the products again and re-add them to your shopping cart.
