Description

This local craft brewery creates its fine ales following the traditional UK style. Pours a yellow amber colour with light head. Aromas of caramel, dried fruit, light spice and hops. Rich and creamy on the palate with flavours of malt, cereal, raisin and roast nut, leading to a medium sweet finish. Serve cool with rich game.

Brewmaster Charles Maclean brews his flavourful ales in a new brewery in Hanover, Ontario. Armchair Scotch Ale is richly flavoured, with generous malty notes in the foreground. Toffee and molasses notes are balanced by earthy hops and a hint of smoke. A wonderful pairing with smoked salmon, aged cheeses, or grilled meats.
